Is Conjunctivitis Causing Watery Discharges With Puffiness?
Hi - My son is 5 years and I noticed one of his eyes was a little bloodshot and watery with a yellowish disharge on Sunday evening. The next morning (sat) he woke up and seemed to be fine - eyes a little puffy though. I figured just its just probably allergies. I gave him some claritan. Later that evening i noticed the discharge in the other eye and he had a 100.9 temp. This morning he woke up with his eyes a little watery with the same color discharge and his eyes a little irritated with no puffiness. And tonight he had a temp or 101.1. So I figured I'd better take him to his pediatrician tomorrow to have him examined. Then tonight I noticed that his younger brother who is 3 has the same symptoms but with no fever or puffiness of the eyes just a little bloodshot. I've decided to keep them both out of school tomorrow and take them to the dr. first thing. Could this be the beginning stages of pinkeye? Im thinking what he has could be contagious due his younger brother having the same symptoms. Both of their eyes just looked a little glazed over and irritated and a little bloodshot.

Thank you
