Is Clear Odorless Oil Like Discharge From Rectum Due To Overactive Gallbladder?

I have a clear odorless heavy oil like discharge from my rectum. This liquid is very acidic and causes serious irritation to the external tissue. Even when using a barrier cream; the clear liquid overcomes the effectiveness. Could this be an overactive gallbladder? I have a balanced diet 5' 8" weigh 167 lbs. Bob

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of a person 5'8'', 167 lbs, having clear colorless heavy oil like discharge from rectum which is acidic and causing serious irritation to the external tissue, wants to know whether this can be due to overactive gall bladder ..
This is possible but the color would have been greenish or yellowish.
Hence this may be due to pancreatic enzyme reaching the rectum faster before having action on the food and getting neutralized hence causing the digestive action on the surrounding tissue once it comes in contact with skin.
Another cause can be severe infection of the rectum and colon causing the production and discharge of mucus that on coming in contact with skin causes severe infection and inflammation.
I would advise you the following:
Send the stool for three day for tests and also to get the special tests as may be thought of like for pancreatic enzymes, culture, sensitivity.
A course of an antibiotic and metronidazole.
Probiotics, activated charcoal and multivitamins,
Get an examination, proctoscopy and colonoscopy and biopsy to be planned.
I find this answer helpful
