Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m a 40 year old male, I ve had my heart checked a few times since my dad passed away from an AAA. No heart issues. I have slightly elevated cholestorol 220. Each night when I get home from work my right lower leg is slightly swollen from where my sock stops, my left leg does not do that. There is a clear indentation from my sock, it goes away after 20-30 minutes but it doesn t seem normal. Any ideas?
HI Well come to HCM I appreciate your concern, the swelling that you are having could be due to circulatory disturbances and it could be dud to socks only, if it is so then it is nothing to worry because it is normal one and it is very common condition seen, once you remove the socks and keeps the leg in elevated position for some time swelling will go immediately, hope this information helps.
