General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Chlamydia is sexually transmitted infection in adults. I suggest you and your partner get tested for it one more time but before that I advice you to seek consultation from a veneriologist. Alcohol and pain medications are very less likely to interfere with the test results. Although, the results came positive and if you have doubt get yourself tested for it one more time and also your partner. Timely treatment is needed for chlamydia infection to avoid further complications.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
