Is Chemical Stress Test Necessary For A 90 Years Old Lady With CHF?

My mother s cardiologist has ordered a chemical stress test. She is 90 years old and was diagnosed several months ago with congestive heart failure. Why should she go through this 4 hour testing when we know that she will not be having any surgeries.

congestive hear failure is to be treated. idonot think the chemicalstess test is very essential. as far my knowledge la-six digoxin and inj penidure la 12 can be started.ace inhibitor. beta-blocker and diuretic are standard management. so you should take second opinion for management of cc f.
