Is Change Of Vision While Having Diabetes A Cause For Concern?

Change of vision noted today. In my sight field, it seems like there are pencil marks/scratches half way around me center of vision. The marks do not float , but seem to stay in the same location in relation to my center of vision. They may have become more throughout the afternoon. I have lost most of the functional vision in the opposite eye due to a venous occlusion over 30 years ago. I have been an Insulin dependent diabetic for 47 years. My retinopathy has been stable for years. Any thoughts as to whether I need to be seen tonight (in an ED) or what this may be? YYYY@YYYY
