Is Burning And Itching On The Knuckles Due To Iron Deficiency?
My knuckles are really read and a little bit of my hand to my wrist as well my dad thinks it is iron deficiency but I started to take iron pills and it hasn t changed anything. I don t know what it is but it really burns and itches and it s only on my knuckles... What is it

Hello dear,
It is a possibility that you may be having scabies infection. These are small pests that stay under the skin and move in red, itchy tracts, particularly in bony areas like wrist and knuckles.
Pls dont be worried, it is not a grave problem at all. You just need to apply permethrin ointment once a week, all over the body and take a bath after 24 hours. Repeat it once a week, for 3 weeks and you shall be completely free of this issue.
