Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is Being Excessively Cold And Sweaty At Night Related To Having Cold?
My 3yr old has had a cold for a couple days. Lots of mucus but no fever. Good mood, normal activities. But tonight he was very cold and sweaty...clammy at bedtime. Do you think it s the result of his cold? He asked for a banana and seemed better after he ate it. Thank you!
Temperature variation is quite common with flue and viral infection. Certain times a child get sweaty and warm while sometimes they appear cold. If he is otherwise fine, active and taking food, you should not worry a lot about it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
