Is Bacterial Infection Possible After Eating Heated Steak?

i was removing my steak from the outdoor grill, bumped my arm and it fell to the onto the cement deck. I picked it up immediately put it back on the grill for a minute or two thinking I d kill the germs if there were any, then I put it on my plate. I proceeded to eat 2 bites of the steak because I was hungry. After thinking about what I did I freaked out because i could have ingested some sort bacteria into my body, that could cause a serious illness, consequently I didn t eat any more . Should I worry , if so what should I do?

Hi,

I think you should not worry about it. The time that the steak rested in the ground was so short to be contaminated.

Also, the fact that it was put on the hot grill again it killed all germs. Nothing to worry about.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
