Is Arching Body, Flopping Head And No Eye Contact In An Infant Of 8 Weeks Normal?

hi i have an 8 week old baby girl who has feeding problems and she arches her body all the time , her head also flops to the side , and when a doctor pulls her up by her hands her head flops back, she also doesnt follow you with her eyes, she moves her head to follow just not her eyes. she can smile, and her arms and legs move. we also have to wake her to feed her as she dont wake up, hasnt since birth. the doctors cant give me an answer. so maybe you could .

I really appreciate your concern, such condition may normal one because incase of something serious you would have been informed, moreover in such case clinical examination is must because without this nothing can be said for sure such case history demands the clinical examination, if your are not satisfied with the doctor then you can go for second opinion, some time this could be slow mile stone and it would be fine. hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
