Is Antibiotics Advisable While Having Recurrent Symptoms Of UTI?

I got a UTI two weeks ago. the first two days were the worst (no much pain but some blood in urine, urge to pee, weird uncomfortable feeling in bladder and when peeing) but I chugged so much water, I eat pretty healthy, get enough vitamin c, and drank cranberry juice. However, symptoms are still around. it seems like every other day I m better, (maybe because I stop chugging as much water because I m not as panicked when I don t have symptoms) but then the next morning, it s back and there may even be a tiny blood. It s getting better though, and I feel if I keep drinking lots of water, even when I feel better, it will go away do I need antibiotics, because I like to avoid them? thanks!
