Is Anterior Polar Cataract In An Infant Curable?

Yesterday my 2 month old little girl was diagnosed with anterior polar cataract in her left eye the doctor says that her vision will not be impaired but I know that her eyes are not fully developed yet should I be worried and should I get a second opinion?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
it is not curable and only to be operated if it has started effecting vision. consult ophthalmologist for examination and opinion regarding surgery. it is congenital or due to birth trauma. it appears to be developmental problem. what are other parts effected like iri colboma or retinal colaboma. itis not curable and this is to asses prognosis.can take second opinion.
