Is An Inguinal Hernia Surgery Safe While Suffering From High BP?

Have inquinal hernia scheduled for surgery high blood pressure should i be worried about being put to sleep during open procidure.cardiologist suggest to be tested for sleep apnea.and was released from hospitol with in a week of scheduled surgery. Worried.

It depends on which reading you are having and other risk factors like age, hernial status, etcetera. Otherwise that part of worry will be taken care of by physician and anesthetic during and after surgery. So if they say it's OK then let them handle.
