Is An Increased Dose Of Long-acting Insulin Advisable For A Type 1 Diabetic?

I m a type 1 diabetic I m on two types of insulin and are insulin for fast-acting and in long-acting insulin I dropped my bottle of fast-acting insulin and I don t have enough money to replace it I want to know if I can increase the doses of the long-acting insulin until I can get back the fast-acting insulin

Good day and thank you for posting this question. No, you can't increase the dose. Kindly visit your doctor for an alternative to use. You can go into Hypoglycaemia and that is more dangerous. I hope it helps.
