Is an extra Azithromycin dosage advisable for a Penicillin allergic person?

I had dental surgery in mexico on Friday. My disclosure statement indicated allergy to penicillin. Dentist gave me a penicillin class antibiotic. I checked online and it was contraindicated for my allergy. The next day I a got Azithromycin 5oo gram. The amoxocilin regime was 3 a day for 5 days. Should I take more than one per day of Azithromycin 500gr. I have taken one every 24 hours starting 24 hours after the surgery. I have tolerated this medicine in the past . I am 67 180 pounds in good health\/

Hello,

I would like to tell you that the dosage and frequency of all antibiotics are different. Azithromycin is to be taken once daily and continued till your dental surgeon advices.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
