Is An NT Scan Necessary During Early Pregnancy?

My Wife is 27 years old. She is 10 weeks pregnant. Her doctor has ordered to do a NT scan. Is it really required to do a NT scan since she is less than 30 years old? Moreover we visited the doctor twice and the doctor did not check her BP. Is it a concern? should we change the doctor?

Hello. welcome to HCM. so it's necessary to have an NT scan as it will look up for any abnormalities in fetus. please go for it. Bp measurement should be done every time you visit a doctor.
