Is Amenorrhea, Inspite Of Negative Pregnancy Tests Indicative Of Pregnancy?

Hi! My name is Aira, my last period is last March 15 and until now I didn t have my period. I m delayed for almost 1 month and two weeks. We had an unprotected sex last month April 16 with my partner and I m having a spotting that day. and I tried to use the pregnancy test twice last month and yesterday but the result is negative. Am I pregnant?

Hi,

Well if the periods are missed and there is negative urine pregnancy test multiple times then the chances of pregnancy are negligible. Missed periods can be due to a number of causes like ovarian cysts, hormonal imbalance, etc.

You can consult a gynecologist and get thoroughly examined with a sonography and hormonal profile. Once the cause is ruled out then an appropriate treatment plan can be advised. For now do regular exercise and yoga. Avoid stress and take light nutritious diet.
