Is Alcohol Consumption Safe While Suffering From Spondylitis?

Hi, I have consulted an orthopaedic surgeon with respect to a severe shoulder pain. MRI scans revealed spondylitis. I am consuming Altradey tablet 2 in a day. My query is that can I consume alcohol during the course of the treatment?? Thanks & Regards, Sajeendranath S

hello,
altraday is a pain killer so don't have it on daily basis but on whenever needed basis. Instead you request for medicine like pregabalin and neurobion forte. Also do neck physiotherapy.
As such alcohol has no direct adverse effects on spondylitis, so you can have it in moderation. But there should not be additional trauma to neck, otherwise it may aggravate the situation.
