Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
I appreciate your concern for your husband's health. He has an accelerated hypertension which can be treated with an additional dose of Amlodipine and you can give upto 10mg of Amlodipine per day depending on the need.
If the blood pressure remains elevated, he should see a doctor and be investigated for its cause.
I shall be happy to answer more queries.
Wish your husband good health
