Hello,

You may have certain gastrointestinal side effects. Accidental intake of a single dose of Sinemet (Levodopa+Carbidopa) should not cause any problem as such. However, you may experience nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and anorexia. It may also cause abnormal movements such as exaggerated twitching and uncontrolled repetitive movements of the tongue, lips, face, arms, or legs. The half-life of this drug is one and a half hours, it means that most of the drug will leave your system in six to nine hours. So, the side effects will usually subside after six to nine hours. However, I advise you to consult your doctor for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
