Is A Wet Whitish Wound After Laser Treatment Normal?
Hello, I had laser treatment for a birthmark on my leg, the skin became tissue paper the thin and actually came off. I saw a doctor today who prescribed fucidin 2% ointment. After using it the wound looks wet, with a whiteish colour and looks worse. Is this normal? The skin wasnt oozing before and now it is

Hi.
As per your case history of white patch after laser therapy, my treatment advice is -
1. It is a normal reaction after laser therapy, so don't worry about it.
2. Continue applying fucudin cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin and oral steroid as oozing is present, taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
