Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I am a 28 year old female and have always had this mole on my leg that produced thick dark brittle hair so being young I always shaved it against doctor recommendations and now ( the last 5 years) I feel like I m noticing a new mole every day. Is that something concerning?
Generally, when a dark color mole starts to change, it is highly recommended to see a doctor. The doctor might do a dermatoscopic examination or may require to remove it and have a biopsy.
If the checks come out normal then there is nothing to worry.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
