Is A Small Freckle In The Throat A Matter Of Concern?
I was told that I have a small freckle in the back of my throat after an examination. It does not appear to be raised, and the Doctor was not too concerned about it. I am a non smoker, and in good health. However, my sister was previously diagnosed with stage #1 breast cancer about 10 years ago, and went through a lumpectomy, and has been cancer free since. There is no other cancer history in my family. Should I be overly concerned about this? Thank you in advance.

Sounds to be possible benign lesion in the throat, but still as there is family history of cancer, I would recommend its excision and biopsy for life time cure and evaluation of pathology underlying.
