Is A Painful Tiny Mole On The Eyelid A Concern?

I have a tiny mole on my eyelid. it has bothered me for several years. never seems to grow much larger but is extremely sensitive to touch., feels like a needle prick when touched. bothersome when washing or just rub my finger over it. I have tried some home remedies but nothing helps. it is very small and hardly noticeable appears normal skin color.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can be due to conditions like Chalazion or style. It is nothing but a collection in lacrimal duct. Consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated. As a first line of management eye drops can be tried and if symptoms persist, the swelling has to be removed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
