Is A Painful Bulge On Shoulder Post Injury A Cause For Concern?

I walked into a door and took a nasty whack on my shoulder. Though there was no visible bruising I noticed a small bulge bump at the juncture of the bicep tendon. Its been two months since and the bulge is still there sometime hurts when I lift things or exert my left arm. I have seen an orthopedic and he assures me that this was caused by the blow to my shoulder and that in time the bulge should go down

I really appreciate your concern, if you have not the imaging study for it then better to get it done to rule out the fracture part and mal-union if ever happened, hope this information helps.
