Is A Painful Bruise On The Chest Post An Injury A Concern?

My mom, who is 95, took a big fall. her chest is bruised, and she is complaining of a lot of pain in her chest and neck. she has been hospitalized for a week and is now in rehab, and they ran test, but do not find anything wrong. could it just still be the bruising?

It depends on what tests they have done. If she has developed bruise, then X ray could help u out to find any fracture ribs.or a scan to find out any internal injury... If they have done all this and it's just a superficial injury, then she could get better soon.
