Hello. My daughter has had this dark brown stripe right down her big toenail since about age 5. She is now 18 years old. I was told years ago by her old doctor it was a birthmark? If this were fungal, wouldn t it have cleared by now. There is no family hx of any form of cancers that I am aware of. I will be scheduling her an appointment shortly after learning that this could be signs of melanoma?
