Is Zantac Effective In The Treatment Of Acid Reflux?
I am on Dexilant for reflux, and now I am very concerned about it causing Alzheimers. I am 71 and was on Nexium twice a day until it went OTC and did NOT work as well. I switched to this recently. Would Zantac be a better choice? What about pro tonics?

Zantac is a brand name of Ranitidine.
It is quite effective but not recommended for long-term use.
You can try alternatives like Omeprazole also.
