My husband has colon cancer that has metabolized to his liver. External radiation been ruled out because of where the tumor is located in the liver. His oncologist, after leading him through the standArd chemo treatments for two years is recommending Y-90. He went through mapping procedure this pAst Friday, spent a miserable weekend and went I.to ER Monday. He has asthma, but his symptoms pointed to heart problems. At his age of 68 they were totally focused on the heart vs anything else. We checked out of ER when a battery of tests, covering over four hours, turned up nothing heart related. He is now scared to do the Y-90l radiation treatment because he might have a similar reaction and won t be able to control it. What are the side effects you have experienced?? R
