Is TB Test Required To Be Done On Both Arms?

I just had the TB test done and results read last week and was told they were fine (I m starting a job at a local school). Now their office has scheduled an appointment telling me to return and now have the same test injected into my other arm - is this correct? Do I really need it done in each arm? My co-workers at the school all say no, but before I call to disagree I want to be sure.

Hi!
welcome to HCM!
You just had the Mantoux test done and results read were fine .You did not need another test if results were clearly negative.A repeat test is not required and if required not advocated before one week as the tuberculin injected for the first test has a booster effect on the subsequent dose. You can go ahead and ask them for clarifications.
