Is Susten Or Meftal Good While Traveling During Pregnancy?

HI, I am travelling from over seas to India next month. Then I would be 20 weeks pregnant. The journey would be 20 hours long and I have to change the flight as well. Should I take any medicine to support my pregnancy during the time? As it may some excursion may happen during the time. My friend traveled like that to India last year. Doctor has suggested her to take tablet susten 200 during the travel, I spoke to one doctor and told her my scenario then doctor suggested me to take meftal spas during the travel. I want to ask which one is better to consume in my case . Susten or Meftal Spas.

Second trimester is probably the safe time to travel during pregnancy since the morning sickness symptoms usually reduce in most women. You can take susten as your doctor has suggested.

I would also suggest you to book for a regular check up and ultrasound scan few days before travel to check both mother and fetal health.

Ask for suggestions about names of doctors and hospitals at your destination to manage any symptoms or complications.Be aware of the name of a tertiary care hospital at your travel destination so that you can visit in case of any emergencies.
