Is Prolia Injection Advisable For Mild Osteoporosis?

my doctor says I should get a Prolia injection. I am 77 years old and in good health. I do take Synthroid 125 mgrams. I have been told that Prolia can produce some serious side effects. I had a bone scan recently and it showed slight signs of ostiaporosis. Would you agree that I should take the prolia or not. Marvin lowery
