Is Paroxetine Effective In The Treatment Of Depression?
I understand that at least one research study suggested paroxetine has been effective to help treat recurrent brief depression disorder. I am seeing an accomplished professor from a local university in my practice (I provide psychotherapy) and she is seeing a psychiatrist for medication management. We recently changed her diagnosis to RBDD. She has responded well to CBT but the recurrent nature of her depression is problematic. Had an onset at about age 45, now is age 47.
