Is Pantodac 40mg Safer Than Rantac 150mg For Acidity During Pregnancy?
Hi doctor, I am in my 27th week of pregnancy. I am phasing acidity. So doctor has suggested me rantac 150 mg. I just want to know, as before pregnancy I used to take pantodac 40 mg sometimes( one or twice in 6 months). So i would like to know which is more safer out of these two during pregnancy?

I can understand your concern. Both Rantac and Pantodac are used as antacids and they come under Category B by the FDA, meaning there has not been any studies on humans, but it is safely used during pregnancy without any harm to the fetus.
So you can take either medicine to control the acidity you are suffering from.
