i live in IRAN and my sonis twelve and half years old, but his height is 4 foot and inches (131cantimeters) now. His doctor identified that my son needs Growth Hormone, so the doctor prescribed Omnitrope’’. My son has gotten a 1.3 cc-dosage shot of it every night for one year, but his height was only 8 cm longer than before for this period of time. The doctor told us , This is not a expected result and I have to increase the dosage of omnitrope . In addition, my husband s height is 171 cm and my height is 145 cm and my oldest son s height is 165 cm. First of all, I need to know why has not my son‘s height been enough longer although he has gotten growth hormone. Second, is this medicine appropriate and right for my son’s problem? Third, is there solution such as another medicine, especial food, vitamin or mineral and something like these for this problem that we can get a better result than before? Can increasing dosage of omnitrope have a good result for my son? I will appreciate if you answer my questions and tell me what I can do.
