PLEASE ANSWER AND HELP. Have my wedding in 5 months :( I am a 23 year old female. I have been suffering from hair loss for more than 3 years. I have scanty, thin hair and a receding hairline. Though my previous dermatologist had prescribed 2% minoxidil an year back, i never used it seriously and correctly. The last 2-3 weeks, i have been regularly applying the minoxidil 2% solution 1ml twice daily on my scalp. I consulted another dermatologist yesterday and she asked me to discontinue minoxidil (as its been only 2 weeks since i have been using it regularly) as when one stops using minoxidil, they experience hair loss again she said. She instead prescribed the following: 1. Androanagen tablet. 1 daily for 6 months 2. Juene hair cream - twice daily for 6 months 3. Alpecin liquid - 2ml once daily for 6 months 4. Tricho gro gel - once daily (whenever i wash my hair) 5. Neogenic Shampoo I am extremely confused and worried. All these days i read that minoxidil is my only hope to regrow the hair i lost. But now discontinuing it and using these new drugs, i don t know what to do! Please advice
