Is Methylprednisolone 4mg The Right Medicine For Curing Itching On The Hands?

i got from the dr. 4mg of methylprednisolone and the directions. I had so much reactions to medicines and the dr knows of it. But what is this stuff for. I have iching bad in the hands with my hands broken open at the knuckles. Is this a good medicine for itching. I see it used for so many other disorders i am wondering why this was given to me for itching.

It is possible that your doctor thought that the itching was related to an allergic response.

Allergies can potentially be treated with the use of steroids.

If there is no improvement then your doctor can reassess for another cause.
