Is Librax And Ibscim, Effective For Stomach Pain With Loose Stools?
Dear Dr.I am having stomach ache and passing of stools with semi solid state in the past one week. My Dr suggested me to take IBSCIM Tabs for three times a day and Librax at bed times for three weeks. Will it solve my problem. I am having stomach ache two-three hours after taking the food.Kuppuswamy

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of stomach pain with loose stools which seems to be due to poor digestion, gastroenteritis , food poisoning , irritable bowel syndrome , lactose intolerance or intestinal ileus. It seems to be due to food poisoning and viral infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test , ultrasound , endoscopy along with that take history . Doctor may prescribe laxative , ornidazole or albendazole along with ranitidine. Drink plenty of fluids. Yes taking tablet Librax and Ibscim would give beneficial effects along with preventive methods. You should eat light and non spicy. You should avoid food like seafood and nuts. You should take antacid after every meal and keep your head elevated while lying down. You should take proper course of antacid along with proton pump inhibitors.
