Is Ibuprofen Sufficient To Help Treat Possible Spinal Injury?

My daughter is in the armed forces. Whilst on army exercise she was pushed off a 20ft wall and landed on her back. She had on her full kit bag on her back and her water bottle pressed into her spine. She couldn t het up for a while but when she did she tried to continue with the course. After a while the pain became unbearable. She removed herself and waited for her husband to collect her. She describes the pain as 9/10 but the army has advised her to take ibuprofen and to visit th army dr tomorrow Should she visit the emergency room tonight?
