General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The risk for HIV is considered low with having oral sex. However, the risk is increased if there are open sores on the mouth or genital area independently to ejaculation of cum. However, there is no scientific evidence of increased risk for HIV with swallowing cum.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
