Is HIV Transmission Possible Through Oral Sex?

Hey!I recently received oral sex from a girl i think had HIV. I think i may have been exposed to it but i ve read that receiving oral sex from an positive person generally puts me at no risk. I have no symptoms at all but i feel a little discomfort in my neck and been feeling it for a few months now. I have had frequent diarrhea and headaches. i honestly feel like i have HIV but at the same time i feel like i am stressed out and have bad anxiety. Can you please tell me if you think i have hiv or not.

Hello, thank you for using HCM. The chance an HIV-negative person will get HIV from oral sex with an HIV-positive partner is extremely low. However, it is hard to know the exact risk because a lot of people who have oral sex also have anal or vaginal sex. The type of oral sex that may be the riskiest is mouth-to-penis oral sex. But the risk is still very low, and much lower than with anal or vaginal sex.
Though the risk of HIV transmission through oral sex is low, several factors may increase that risk, including sores in the mouth or vagina or on the penis, bleeding gums, oral contact with menstrual blood, and the presence of other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Best regards.
