Is Gestin Taken To Regularize Menstruation?
Hi,my last period started on 6 aug..but till now i did not get my period...I did a pregnancy checkup test and it turned out negative...so called doc..receptionist and also nurse told to take GESTIN 10Mg FOR 5 days twice a day....but am confused is it to make my period regularise or to help for pregnancy....in nml cases I have a regular 28 day circle...plz respond

I really appreciate your concern, irregular period is due to hormone changes and hormone changes could be due to many reasons some time it could be due to age also, it may be get alright with hormone therapy, and some time may not be, depends upon the underlying cause, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
