Is Fluocinonide Solution Advisable For Scalp Itching While On Steroid Treatment?

yes i have rosacea and lichen planus, so i am itching all the time. my scalp itches, but i do not have psoriacis or indications of any other iritations. my derm doctor prescribed fluocinonide solution fo put on the scalp, but i am concerned because i have taken many steroid for arithritis. d you recommend that i begin.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have bumps and rashes on legs and arms. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like side effects of steroid , eczema , psoriasis or contact dermatitis . Fluocinonide is used treating inflammation and itching caused by psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and certain other skin conditions. But in case the symptoms are due to side effect then your should consult doctor and discuss the condition . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute .
