Is Diltiazem Advisable For Choking And Swelling Caused While Eating?
I am having problems with food not going down after I swallow, it feels like it gets stuck and starts to swell almost taking my breath away. My primary care doctor prescribed diltiazem 12 HR ER 60 MG Cap for me today and I don t understand how this could help after reading all the info that came with it. I have had an endoscopy and that didn t help at all, after the stretch.

You dont have heart problems.
Probably you may have a DES ( diffuse esophageal spasm)
