Is C-section Possible With Placenta Few Centimeters Away From Cervix?

Hello Doctor....I am 31 years old and this is my 2 nd pregnancy. I am currently 35 weeks pregnant. I have been told that I was having a Low lying placenta right from the beginning. So they have scheduled a C -Section for me. But during my last scan taking in my 35th week, my placenta is just 1.85 cm from cervix and has moved upwards. My radiologist suggested that we speak to the OB DR and ask her to wait for another week before we go ahead with the C-SEC, as my C-SEC was scheduled during my 38th week. Now with the placenta at 1.85cm from C-SEC do you think they will still go ahead with a C-SEC.
Thank You,
Anita
