Is Benadryl The Right Medicine For Rashes On The Lower Leg?
Hello, my 13 year old daughter has 2 patches of skin rash on her lower leg for 5 days now. These skin rash is itchy, bumpy, solid, and has pus. She believes that it must be some kind of insect bite. Should I be worried that it can be some kind of infection? I have given her Benadryl and Benadryl cortisone.

Hi,
as from what I infer, it looks like there is a bit of infection, avoid the use of Benadryl or steroids as they would not help. Kindly use tab. Cetrizine for the itchiness and consult a dermatologist for further treatment and antibiotics.
