Is BP Of 96/66 A Cause For Concern?

I AM 84 YEARS OLD AN A/FIB-- I AM EXPERIENCING AN A/FIB EVENT AT THE MOMENT THAT LAST ONE OCCURED THREE MONTH AGO-- MY LATEST BLOOD PRESSURE READING WAS 96/66 IS THIS SYSTOLIC READING SOMETING I SHOULD BR CONCERNED WITH. I DO NOT TAKE ANY OTHER MEDS FOR MY A/FIB

Hi,

The BP reading should always be correlated to the symptoms of the patient. If there are no symptoms, then it does not signify much. If there are symptoms, it has to be evaluated for the underlying cause. If persistent on a regular basis, should be once evaluated; otherwise isolated single reading of this range is normal.
