Is Amylac Advisable For Rashes Causes From Sun Exposure?

I have got rashes due to sunburn, and so was checking my old prescription and found amylac ammonium lactic cream 12%. Is it used for skin lightening or reducing itchiness? My dermatologist referred me this long back but I don t exactly recollect why I used this for? Can it be used in face or hands only?

Hi,

Yes, it may be used for the rashes due to sun exposure. Amylac cream is a moisturizer which is used topically for the treatment of dry, scaly, and itchy skin. It is not used for skin lightening however it helps in reducing the itchiness. It can be used in the face and hands.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
