General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection. This is why the antibiotics may not be effective. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen.

I also recommend using throat sprays for local application. I suggest you drink liquids and rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
