Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If the shortness of breath is because of the lung (wheezing or previous history of lung problem like asthma ,copd) then she can use it it does does not cause major problem. In case things don't improve, I would suggest she should see a doctor then.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
